Descripción

The Code Alarm part number of this remote is CATXMT.  On the back of the remote it says CATX-MT.  The FCC ID is H5OT46, commonly mispelled as H50T46.  This has a Red LED.  It has 4 Buttons.  This remote works on the foillowing Code Alarm systems: CA1051, CA1150, CA1151, CA1550, CA1551, CA2050, CA2051, CA5050, CA5051, CA5051MT, CA5150, CA5152, CA5153, CA5153SST, CA6150, CA6151, CA6550, CA6551, and CA6553.  You will receive a remote with either a remote start or trunk button.  Regardless which you receive, the appropriate function of your car's system will work from that button.  The programming instructions are available for free on our blog.

Programming Procedure:

Note: This mode will only retain the last 4 remote transmitters programmed. If the transmitter memory is exceeded, the security system will start deleting transmitters from memory in chronological order.

1) Turn the ignition ON.
2) Press and hold the valet/override button.
3) Within 10 seconds the system will chirp/flash the parking lights (3) three times, release the button.
4) Press Button 1 of each transmitter you wish to program. The system will respond with 1 chirp for each accepted transmitter (up to 4).
5) Turn the Ignition OFF to exit programming. The system will also exit programming after 15 seconds of inactivity.

False advertising

On the website the fob that I ordered was advertised as a new model as the old model was discontinued. When my package was received I was send the discontinued model. When I reached out for answers to why I wasn’t sent the updated model as advertised the service rep said he didn’t even know they made the old models still and if I wanted the new one I’d have to pay double the price even though I paid the price of the advertised new
