Often the keyless remotes from cars wear out. Perhaps your plastic is cracked in such a way that it does not stay closed, or perhaps it won't stay on your keychain anymore. If your remote still works but simply has a worn case or button pad then this is the answer. Simply move the circuit board, contact sheet, battery, and battery contact from the old case to the new one.
