How do I know this fits my car?
Match the FCC ID on the back of your old remote, or the model of your alarm system (on the alarm’s control unit or in its manual), to the one in the specifications on this page. These fit the alarm, not the car, so a VIN can’t tell. Not sure? Send us a photo of your old remote.
Which condition should I choose?
All conditions do the same job in your car: same buttons, programmed the same way. The difference is how it looks and what it costs.
- Aftermarket New: a new copy built to the same spec, without the car maker’s logo. The lowest price.
- Pre-owned: genuine and tested, in its original case with visible wear. Works the same, costs less.
Do I need to program it, and how much does that cost?
Yes, to your alarm system. Most alarm remotes learn with the alarm’s valet or program button in a few minutes, no tools, no cost; the steps come in the box. If your system needs it, an installer can program it.
Will my old keys still work?
Program all your remotes in the same session. Most alarm systems forget any remote that isn’t programmed along with the new one.

TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING
Enter:
1. Turn the Ignition 'switch "OFF/ON 3 TIMES and stay in ON position. Within 15 seconds. 2. Push the Valet switch 2 times and hold in on the 2 push, when a long chirp is heard then release the valet switch. You are now in the Transmitter programming mode. Program:
1. Press any button on transmitter 1 until the siren responds with a confirming chirp; the first transmitter is now programmed.
2. Press any button on the second transmitter until the siren responds with a confirming chirp; the second transmitter is now programmed.
3. Apply the same procedure to program 3rd and 4th
Exit: Turn Ignition to 'OFF' position, or leave it for 15 seconds. 3 long chirps and 3 Parking Light will confirm exit.
Note: If more than 4 transmitters programmed, the system will only keep the last four.
