Which condition should I choose?
All conditions do the same job in your car: same buttons, programmed the same way. The difference is how it looks and what it costs.
- OEM Refurbished: genuine part, restored and tested by a locksmith, with a new battery. Works and programs just like OEM new. Comes in a logo case when we have one, otherwise a new case without the logo.
- OEM New: a genuine factory part from the car maker, never used. The same as the dealer’s, usually for less.
Do I need to program it, and how much does that cost?
Yes, a new key or remote has to be programmed to your car before it works. How depends on the year and trim: on some you do it yourself at the car with a short sequence of key turns and button presses (the steps come with it, no tool, no cost); on others a locksmith or dealer connects a programming tool. Send us your VIN and we’ll tell you which before you buy.
Will my old keys still work?
Bring every key you want to keep using when the new one is programmed. On many cars programming clears any key that isn’t there at the time.

To add new remotes without erasing existing remotes:
1. Open the driver鈥檚 door.
2. Insert the key into ignition.
3. Within 5 seconds, turn the ignition to ACC position and then to LOCK position
three times within three seconds.
4. Within 10 seconds close and open the door two times.
5. Turn the ignition to ACC and then to LOCK three times within three seconds.
6. Within 10 seconds close then open the door. The door locks will cycle twice to
confirm programming mode has been entered.
7. Within 20 seconds press the LOCK button on the remote you are programming.
The door locks will cycle to confirm.
8. Within 20 seconds press the UNLOCK button on the remote. The door locks
will cycle again to confirm.
9. Repeat from step 1 for each additional remote you wish to program.
10. Remove key from ignition.
To delete all remotes and add one new one:
