2008 Mazda CX-9 Sport Utility Keyless Operating System

When I was researching the kind of FOB I needed for my 2008 Mazda CX-9 SUV, I did not see a keyless credit card style FOB available as an option. I selected the Flip-Key Remote displayed when I entered my vehicle info. When I took the key to my local locksmith, he told me it would not mesh with the keyless system. It would have been nice if I was given a choice when ordering the fob. I was not aware there was a difference. I have since reordered the correct fob after I learned from a Remotes and Keys sales agent that there was one available. To be fair, I liked the fact that this company is very responsive to taking care of the customer and has reached out to solve this issue. Very friendly service agents. Quality product at a fair price. Shipping is quick and the product received was in great condition. I would recommend Remotes And Keys to anyone who almost passed out when they were told the price they would have to pay at the dealer!

Programming Procedure:

1. Have key in hand. Close all doors.
2. Open driver?? door. Perform steps 3-7 within 24 seconds.
3. Insert key and turn ignition switch from ON to OFF position three times. Leave key in.
4. Close and open driver?? door three times. (End with it open.)
5. Door locks should lock and unlock automatically (if they do not wait, 40 seconds and repeat procedure starting at step 1.)
6. Press UNLOCK button TWICE on the keyless remote to be programmed, door locks should lock and unlock indicating the car learned that remote.
7. Remove Key. Door locks will cycle again.
8. Exit vehicle, close doors and test remote.

Mazda 2 (2011-2015), Mazda 3 (2011-2015), Mazda 5 (2006-2015), Mazda CX-7 (2007-2013), Mazda CX-9 (2007-2015).
