Description
All automobiles that use this remote are onboard programmable. This indicates that you can program the car to accept new remotes yourself without using special tools or having special knowledge. Free phone tech support is available if you need it.
Remote For Toyota:
This is a replacement for Toyota Part Numbers 89070-42540, 89070-42660, 89070-42670 and FCC ID HYQ12BBY. Remote is tested on a keyless entry tester for radio signal strength, battery strength, and proper functioning before shipping to you. The transponder is also prepared to ensure it is ready for vehicle programming. Also works on Toyota RAV4 2006-2010 (2010 model with old chip - dot on keyblade)
Programming Procedure:
1. Start with the following conditions:
a. Key is out of the ignition
b. Driver door is open (all other doors are closed)
c. Driver door is unlocked (other doors don?? matter).
2. Perform the next two steps within 5 seconds:
a. Insert the key into the ignition (don?? turn it) and pull it out.
b. Insert the key into the ignition (don?? turn it) and pull it out.
3. Perform these steps within 40 seconds:
a. Close then open the driver?? door.
b. Close then open the driver?? door.
c. Insert the key into the ignition (don?? turn it) and pull it out.
4. Perform these steps within 40 seconds:
a. Close then open the driver?? door.
b. Close then open the driver?? door.
c. Insert the key into the ignition.
d. Close the driver?? door.
e. Turn the ignition to ON (as far as you can go without cranking your engine) then back to OFF.
f. Remove the key from the ignition.
5. Within 3 seconds, the power door locks should cycle (lock then unlock) automatically indicating successful entry into programming mode. Return to Step 1 if the locks do not cycle at this point.
6. Perform these steps within 40 seconds:
a. Press the lock and unlock buttons on the transmitter simultaneously for 1 second.
b. Immediately after releasing the lock and unlock buttons, press the unlock button by itself and hold for 2 seconds. Within 3 seconds, the door locks should cycle (lock then unlock) once indicating successful programming. If the door locks cycle twice, repeat steps 6a and 6b for this remote as it has not been accepted.
7. Open driver?? door.
