This is a high quality replacement transponder chip key for Toyota vehicles. This key comes with a "4C" transponder chip inside and a uncut blade. Be sure your original key looks identical to the one pictured. The key will need to be cut and programmed by a locksmith or dealer. There is no manual way for self programming.
Each transponder has its own unique code. When the key is inserted into the ignition and turned, the transponder is energized and broadcasts its unique code to the car's receiver in the dashboard. If the car's receiver recognizes the code, it will allow the car to start.
Go to a local automotive locksmith to cut the key to function on your vehicle and program the car to start with the new transponder key.
