The subsequent Programming Routine may be used to add any transmitter whose circuit board number is DT8B, DT8C, or RT4A, regardless of whether the remote transmitter's FCC ID is EZSDEI493C or EZSDEI467 or EZSDEI492, EZSDEI493 or anything else, when used on these systems: Automate 2, Automate 3+, Automate 5+, Equalizer 2, Valet 710T, Hornet 718T, Hornet 719T, Python 650, Python 750, Sidewinder 5000, Sidewinder 6000, Wasp 718W, Viper 300+, Viper C 50, Viper 500+, Viper 500NX. For you to go into the Programming Method, the system’s Valet/Programming button should be connected to the blue port.

Channel 1 is made for Arm, Disarm, and Panic. Channel 2 is for Silent Mode or Remote Valet mode in the event the system was set up for it. Channel 3 is optional and only used when your system was set up for a 3rd channel.
1. Open up the driver door.
2. Insert key in ignition and turn to your ON/RUN position.
3. Push the valet button One time, push again and hold it until step Five. The system will chirp once.
4. Press button #1 on the remote. One chirp confirms channel has been learned.
5. Release the valet button. Take out key to complete.

If your system uses channel 2:
1. Open up the driver's door.
2. Insert key in ignition and switch towards the ON/RUN position.
3. Press the valet button TWO TIMES, press again and hold it until step Five. The system will chirp once.
4. Push button #2 on the remote. 1 chirp confirms channel has been learned.
5. Release the valet button. Remove key to conclude.

If your system uses channel 3:
1. Open up the driver door.
2. Insert key in ignition cylinder and switch towards the ON/RUN position.
3. Push the valet button THRICE, push again and hold it until step 5. The system will chirp once.
4. Press both buttons together on the transmitter . One chirp indicates channel has been learned.
5. Let go of the valet button. Take out key to end.
