Programming Procedure #802

When programming multiple remotes, you must perform the procedure in it’s entirety for each remote you’re adding, except that you will be selecting a different memory for each remote.

1. Switch ignition to the ON position (as far as it goes without cranking the engine) with the first key.
2. Leave the key in the ignition, exit the vehicle, and close the driver door.
3. Mechanically LOCK the driver door using the second key.
4. Within 5 seconds (with the remote you want to program) press the UNLOCK button at one second intervals the number of times corresponding to the memory position you want to program it to.
1. Memory 1: Press UNLOCK button once within 5 seconds of step 3.
2. Memory 2: Press UNLOCK button twice within 5 seconds of step 3.
3. Memory 3: Press UNLOCK button 3 times within 5 seconds of step 3.
4. Memory 4: Press UNLOCK button 4 times within 5 seconds of step 3.
5. Wait 5 seconds then press the UNLOCK button once more.
6. Switch ignition OFF then press LOCK and UNLOCK buttons together on the new remote.
7. Test remote for function.
