Programming Procedure #476

Entering programming mode cancels all previously learned remotes. You must program all remotes you wish to use during programming. You can program up to 2 remotes.

  1. Open the driver’s door.
  2. Press and hold the driver’s power door lock switch in the UNLOCK position. (Continue to hold the switch during this procedure.)
  3. Within 10 seconds, insert key in the ignition and remove it five times. Then insert the key again leaving it in the ignition. The power door locks will cycle to confirm that the vehicle has entered programming mode.
  4. Press LOCK or UNLOCK on the remote. The door locks will cycle to confirm.
  5. To program a second remote, press LOCK or UNLOCK within 10 seconds of programming the first.
  6. Release the power door lock switch you’ve been holding since step 2.
