Programming Procedure #316
Note: The programming connector is located behind/under the glove compartment (attached to the relay mounting panel or taped to the wire assembly) and is accessed by dropping the glove compartment. It’s a white or light gray plastic connector with two terminals that is not plugged into anything. The color of the two wires leading to the plastic connector is grey/yellow and white/yellow.
- Put the ignition to ON or ACC and momentarily jump the two program connector terminals with a suitable jumper wire. The system will respond by locking and then unlocking all doors or chirping the horn. After that, remove the jumper wire.
- Press any button on the first remote. All doors will lock and unlock or horn will chirp to verify programming of that remote.
- Press any button on each additional remotes (including your old ones) allowing a pause for the door locks to cycle after each remote. The keyless entry system will allow up to four remotes to be programmed.
- Turn the ignition to OFF. All doors will lock then unlock or the horn will chirp.
