Remove driver’s side back body pillar finish panel to access programming connector. It’s in the rear compartment between tail-light and wheel well.
Ground the programming connector to a suitable location. The door lock assemblies and rear compartment lid lock assembly or end gate window solenoids will cycle indicating receiver assembly is in program mode.
Press any button (only once) on transmitter. The door lock assemblies and rear compartment lid lock assembly or end gate window solenoids will cycle once confirming that transmitter code is programmed. Any transmitter code that was previously programmed has been erased. Receiver assembly is now programmed to the transmitter assembly.
If programming a second transmitter (including your old one) press any button (only once) on the second transmitter. This must be done before program connector is disconnected. The door lock assemblies and rear compartment lid lock assembly or end gate window solenoids will cycle once confirming that second transmitter is programmed.
Disconnect the programming connector.
