The following Programming Routine may be used to program any remote keyfob whose PC Board ID is DT8B, DT8C, or RT4A, whether or not the remote’s FCC ID is EZSDEI493C or EZSDEI467 or EZSDEI492, EZSDEI493 or something different, when being used on these systems: Automate 2, Automate 3+, Automate 5+, Equalizer 2, Valet 710T, Hornet 718T, Hornet 719T, Python 650, Python 750, Sidewinder 5000, Sidewinder 6000, Wasp 718W, Viper 300+, Viper C 50, Viper 500+, Viper 500NX. For you to enter the Programming Routine, the system’s Valet/Programming button will have to be attached to the blue port.
Channel 1 is made for Arm, Disarm, and Panic. Channel 2 is for Silent Mode or Remote Valet mode if the system was wired for this. Channel 3 is optional and only used if your system was set up for a third channel.
1. Open the driver door.
2. Stick key in ignition and switch to the ON/RUN position.
3. Press the valet button ONCE, push once more and hold it until step Five. The system will chirp once.
4. Push button #1 on the remote. One chirp indicates channel has been learned.
5. Let go of the valet button. Take out key to finish.
If your system uses channel 2:
1. Open up the driver door.
2. Insert key in ignition cylinder and switch towards the ON/RUN position.
3. Push the valet button TWO TIMES, press again and hold it until step Five. The system will chirp once.
4. Press button #2 on the remote. 1 chirp indicates channel has been learned.
5. Let go the valet button. Take out key to end.
If your system uses channel 3:
1. Open the driver door.
2. Stick key in ignition and switch to the ON/RUN position.
3. Press the valet button THRICE, push once more and hold it until step Five. The system will chirp once.
4. Press both buttons together on the remote transmitter . 1 chirp verifies channel has been learned.
5. Release the valet button. Take out key in order to complete.
